Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented IT Operations to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our critical systems. You will perform essential tasks such as running end-of-day (EOD) batch processes, monitoring system availability, and troubleshooting issues to minimize disruptions. Your Role
- Execute EOD batch jobs according to daily, monthly, and yearly schedules.
- Proactively monitor system availability and performance, identifying and escalating potential issues.
- Collaborate with system owners and IT colleagues to resolve incidents promptly, minimizing business impact.
- Generate comprehensive monthly summary reports on system performance and operational activities.
- Provide on-call support outside of normal business hours, including evenings and holidays, as needed.
- Able to do shift work and rotate a business working time as requested
Specifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of proven experience as an IT Operator or in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of Windows operating systems, network infrastructure, and security best practices.
- Proficiency in using monitoring tools and batch processing systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Nice to Have
- Experience in the lending, financial, or technology industry.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices.
